Francine Houben joins “The Power of 10” at IE School of Architecture and Design

On February 12th, Francine Houben joins “The Power of 10”, an event that celebrates 10 years of IE School of Architecture and Design in Madrid. Global challenges will be discussed with 10 different guests, including leading thinkers in architecture, design and cities.
In the event, Francine will present various Mecanoo projects which address key challenges for socially cohesive cities, stressing the importance of collaboration, innovation, and craftsmanship.
Each project is carefully considered in terms of its cultural setting, location and time. Moreover, they are designed to be prepared for predictable and unpredictable changes in our ways of communicating, living, working and consuming.
