Mecanoo releases a detailed map of Delft, the Netherlands. This map is for architecture lovers, friends, clients and others that are curious to find out more about our projects and philosophy.
So get on your bike, because here we go!
Begin your journey at the Delft Train Station which opened in February 2015. Don’t forget to go inside and marvel at the impressive ceiling depicting an old city plan from 1877. The Municipal Offices adjoining the station are currently under construction.
At Oude Delft, catch a glimpse of Mecanoo HQ. From here you can ride your bike in approximately 8 minutes to the next destination: Delft University of Technology Campus.
Upon arriving at the Delft University of Technology Library, park your bike and tour the inside of the building. Continue on foot for a leisurely stroll through Mekelpark, spanning the length of the campus. In the middle of Mekelpark you can admire a mock-up of our Ewicon research project.
On you way back to the city centre, cycle past the Student Housing DUWO. Finish at Delft Station for a well-deserved drink.
