Yesterday marked a significant milestone for The Grace, as Minister of Housing and Spatial Planning Mona Keijzer joined us to mark the official start of construction at Rijswijkseweg 60 in The Hague. This festive moment was celebrated on site with our project partners, guests and collaborators, and signals the next step in delivering one of the city’s most ambitious developments.
Once complete, The Grace will form a striking new high-rise ensemble with two towers rising to approximately 105 and 140 metres. The project will offer a vibrant mix of over 1,300 high-quality, sustainable homes alongside workspaces and amenities—contributing to a more inclusive, connected and future-oriented urban environment.
Designed by Mecanoo, The Grace offers a rich variety of housing typologies with thoughtfully integrated communal amenities and smart sharing solutions. These encourage social interaction and community-building, while keeping comfort and convenience accessible. Residences are finished to a high standard, featuring generous windows for natural light and city views. Homes larger than 50 m² come with a loggia, and verdant rooftop gardens enhance the experience of urban living.
The Grace will become a focal point in The Hague’s Central Innovation District—the economic heart of the city—where approximately 25,000 new homes and 500,000 m² of office space and amenities are planned in the coming years. This large-scale transformation will support the growing population and help position The Hague as a leading city for sustainable, inclusive urban living.
We are proud to help shape this transformative development alongside our partners, and we thank everyone who joined us in celebrating the start of this exciting new chapter.
