2014 Stirling Prize Stories in London

The architects shortlisted for the RIBA Stirling Prize 2014 come together in London on Tuesday September 30th to reveal the stories behind their buildings, the things that inspire them and what it would mean to win the most prestigious prize in architecture.

Given to the best building of the year, the RIBA Stirling Prize 2014 shortlist  and line-up for this event includes; The Shard by Renzo Piano Building Workshop presented by Joost Moolhuijzen, the London Aquatics Centre by Zaha Hadid Architects presented by Jim Heverin, the Everyman Theatre in Liverpool by Haworth Tompkins presented by Steve Tompkins, the Manchester School of Art by Feilden Clegg Bradley Studios presented by Keith Bradley, the LSE’s Saw Swee Hock Student Centre by O’Donnell + Tuomey Architects presented by John Tuomey and of course the Library of Birmingham by Mecanoo presented by Sofia Pereira.

The event is chaired by Hugh Pearman, editor of the RIBA Journal and architecture critic at the Sunday Times and hosted in partnership with Times+
